Entertainment offered by hospitals has traditionally consisted of a TV not individually fitted and taking up space on a trolley or, if light enough, mounted on the wall.
Hospitality has developed a TV by using modern technology resulting in a smaller and lighter version. These properties allow one TV screen to be mounted on a moveable arm on each bed. The screen is more than just a TV. All patients can choose how they want to be entertained, whether it is TV, radio, Internet or a downloaded movie or audio book. The sound is transmitted through a headset, preventing other patients from being disturbed.
