Hospitality is constructed as a closed network structure and services are distributed from a central server.
BaneTele is our main supplier of fiber network connections, but preferred suppliers depend on the hospital's location. The local hospital network is usually not connected to the global hospital network. This structure is the desired solution with reference to the hospital management. The advantages of this solution are more secure networks.
If we separate physical resources with rest of the hospital, we set up a separate VLAN for our network. The network components can be connected with fiber cables, but between the switch and patient terminal we use standard network cable (Cat5/6). We connect directly to BaneTele at MSIP VLAN.
