FIREWALL AND SEPARATED NETWORKS ENSURE SECURITY
The patient terminals are managed on a private network, physically and/or logically separated from the internal hospital network to ensure a secure service.
Two principals are defined in order to ensure security.
-All services and system components are placed in the same closed network.
-All external traffic addressed the closed network are blocked.
The security system consists of two firewalls. One firewall only allows access to Proxy/Content Filter. The other firewall allows traffic out of the system and blocks incoming communication. To register and prevent intruders we use a Intrusion Detection System.
